What you will do

• Develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art with LLMs.
• Analyze and model customer behavior and experience based on large-scale data.
• Fine-tune and post-train LLMs using techniques like SFT, DPO, RLHF, and RLAIF.
• Build online and offline evaluation metrics and methodologies for multimodal personal digital assistants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions from research to production.
• Contribute to the scientific community through publications and community engagement.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Bellevue, WA, USA.
• Proven track record of patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, or distributed computing.

Nice to have

• PhD degree.
• Experience in professional software development.
