What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding individual tax returns.
• Explain tax topics, filing status, deductions, and credits to clients in clear, accessible language.
• Coordinate with clients to gather missing or additional documentation required for accurate returns.
• Create process flows and monitor tax return milestones with external Tax Preparation Partners.
• Manage client files, organize workpapers, and maintain lead sheets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in tax compliance or tax preparation.
• Knowledge of complex individual tax situations (Foreign income, FBAR reporting, Partnership K1, state tax credits).
• Proficiency in LaCerte, Proconnect, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to New York City or Bellevue.
