Director, Compliance Business Partner

Location: Remote, United States; ad-hoc travel within the United States estimated at approximately 20% per year. The role is associated with Palo Alto, California and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Base salary: $189,600.00–$284,400.00 per year for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Advise global and US business functions on compliance risks while supporting strategic and ethical decision-making.
• Provide strategic and tactical compliance guidance to leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Develop compliance tools, resources, policies, standard operating procedures, and communications.
• Build relationships with business leaders and collaborate with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, and international colleagues.
• Identify compliance trends and support monitoring, audits, training, investigations, risk assessments, and remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, enforcement actions, company products, and industry guidance.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of healthcare compliance experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or the life sciences.
• Knowledge of the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, FDA promotion rules, HIPAA, Open Payments, and the PhRMA Code.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence without authority, manage complex compliance matters, and provide practical, actionable guidance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or JD preferred.
• Must be based in the United States and able to travel domestically as required.
