What you will do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for the platform.
• Provision and operate cloud-based Spark clusters and distributed data processing environments.
• Design scalable, secure infrastructure templates across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Monitor systems, resolve pipeline integration issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Promote an Everything-as-Code culture and DataOps best practices across the engineering team.
• Manage cloud infrastructure costs and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a DevOps, DataOps, or data platform engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and managed platforms like Databricks, EMR, or Dataproc.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of Java or Scala.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Strong CI/CD experience with tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Terraform or Ansible.
• Must be based in the US.
