Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $160,000–$208,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build declarative systems for application and infrastructure lifecycle management, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, Kubernetes cluster management, and service inventory.
• Prioritize and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, respond to alerts, and minimize downtime.
• Automate infrastructure processes, delivery pipelines, and database changes to reduce operational toil.
• Help shape the direction of the Site Reliability Engineering team and align technical goals with company objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering leads, data scientists, and technology professionals to maintain scalable infrastructure for domestic and international workloads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience and proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
• In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Containerd, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CNCF technologies such as Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
• Experience with public cloud platforms including GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, Linux system administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and automation.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
