What you will do

• Build and operate a Kubernetes (EKS) data platform using Terraform and Karpenter for node autoscaling.
• Scale and maintain Airflow and Apache Spark on EKS.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki for data quality and storage systems.
• Design AWS data infrastructure, including S3 lifecycle management and VPC networking optimization.
• Automate deployment and CI/CD processes through GitLab CI/CD.
• Integrate Project Nessie as a transactional catalog for Data Lakes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IT Ops, or DataOps roles with a focus on data infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and Amazon EKS in production.
• Expertise in Linux (networking, kernel tuning, performance optimization).
• Proficiency in GitOps and ArgoCD (Helm, app-of-apps).
• Experience with ClickHouse and scripting in Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• English: B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time data streaming, DBT, or Project Nessie.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM, networking).
• Background in high-performance systems or algorithmic trading environments.
