Salary: £59,966 to £73,710 (plus Market Related Pay supplement up to £83,000 total)

What you will do

• Lead and manage the team responsible for finance systems, focusing on stability and continuous improvement.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for SAP Finance systems to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Prioritize system changes and enhancements using agile scrum methodology and product backlog delivery.
• Collaborate with Digital Services on architecture and infrastructure, specifically SAP S/4HANA and cloud landscapes.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release management, and end-user training.
• Drive process standardization to reduce reliance on bespoke solutions and manual workarounds.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Manager with strong technical and functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP BPC.
• Experience delivering system enhancements and transformation initiatives within SAP environments.
• Technical understanding of planning models in SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Must be able to attend the Milton Keynes office approximately once per week

Nice to have

• Experience working within Higher Education or the Public Sector.
• Awareness of SAP cloud strategy (S/4HANA Private vs Public Cloud).
• Understanding of finance process standardization and system-driven controls.
