What you will do

• Develop and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines in production.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for performance.
• Automate data workflows, including data ingestion and aggregation.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance through quality control procedures.
• Train and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Expertise in Oracle Database, Stored Procedures, and SQL Optimization.
• Advanced Oracle SQL skills and experience with relational database design.
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with cloud-based data lakehouse and ETL platforms, specifically Databricks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or AWS QuickSight.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP data engineering services.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop, or Hive.
