What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using Python.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs that support enterprise-scale digital products.
• Implement efficient data models, SQL database schemas, and complex queries.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance and contribute to overall software architecture and code reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering with senior-level backend focus.
• Strong proficiency in Python for building production-grade applications.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, or Azure).
• Must be based in Colombia.
• Professional English proficiency (verbal and written) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
