Salary: $195,000 – $343,000 per year (depending on pay zone)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of engineers working on safety- and security-critical mobile client systems.
• Set technical direction and execution priorities for account integrity, authentication, reporting, and compliance initiatives.
• Drive delivery on complex, high-urgency projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting requirements.
• Partner with Product, Design, Legal, Trust & Safety, and backend engineering to define scope and deliver durable solutions.
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity workflows to design and ship scalable services while upholding rigorous security standards.
• Hire and onboard strong engineering talent while developing senior ICs and technical leaders within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical work experience.
• 9+ years of software development experience (or 7+ with Master's, 3+ with PhD).
• 1+ year of technical leadership or engineering management experience.
• Experience leading engineers delivering production software in mobile, platform, or security-sensitive environments.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to streamline development paired with critical architectural judgment.

Nice to have

• Experience with account security, abuse prevention, safety systems, authentication, or compliance.
• Experience shipping client-side systems on iOS and/or Android at scale.
• Track record of hiring, retaining, and developing strong senior engineers or tech leads.
• Experience working with Legal, Trust & Safety, or policy/compliance partners on time-sensitive deliverables.
