What you will do

• Develop and maintain a driver-based, forward-looking financial model to guide strategic decisions.
• Analyze and optimize unit economics across hundreds of locations to increase contribution margins.
• Lead the transition from QuickBooks to a scalable ERP system and rationalize the chart of accounts.
• Manage cap table hygiene, equity operations, and board/investor reporting.
• Oversee vendor negotiations, commercial rigor, and G&A functions including legal and insurance.
• Collaborate with leadership on compensation philosophy, leveling frameworks, and headcount planning.

Requirements

• Experience as an early finance hire at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
• Proven track record of implementing financial systems and closing books for first audits.
• Strong command of driver-based modeling, scenario analysis, and cohort economics.
• Experience transitioning a company from QuickBooks to a professional ERP.
• Must be located within North America (US time zones).
• Comfortable with a high-intensity startup environment including long hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-location, revenue-share, or transactional businesses.
• Familiarity with hardware or inventory management.
• Prior ownership of legal and G&A functions.
• Experience with M&A-driven growth or company roll-ups.
