What you will do

• Own end-to-end cost-of-revenue analysis and gross margin tracking.
• Analyze and deconstruct cloud, infrastructure, inference, and telephony costs to identify trends and outliers.
• Develop granular cost-per-minute and cost-per-call unit economic models linked to revenue activity.
• Partner with Engineering to implement actionable infrastructure cost optimizations.
• Forecast COGS in the operating plan and provide executive visibility into margin performance.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in FP&A or cost/financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Expertise in analyzing unit economics and cloud/infrastructure costs.
• High attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco.

• Experience at infrastructure-heavy or usage-based companies.
• Familiarity with cloud cost tooling and BI tools.
