What you will do

• Act as the primary decision-maker for architectural choices across the entire Retail Vertical.
• Design and enforce a unified architectural vision that prioritizes scalability and maintainability.
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of AI-assisted development tools to modernize engineering workflows.
• Drive the adoption of AI for automating peer reviews, testing, and bug fixing.
• Serve as the technical face of the vertical for key enterprise accounts and partners.
• Mentor senior engineers and business unit leaders on advanced design patterns and AI integration.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a lead role managing complex portfolios.
• Deep expertise in .NET, React, JavaScript, and microservices architectures.
• Proven track record of making high-stakes technical decisions across multiple product lines.
• Practical experience with modern AI coding assistants and their integration into CI/CD and QA workflows.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience interacting with executive stakeholders and external clients.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Retail Technology or high-volume SaaS environments.
