What you will do

• Lead the network design process and manage existing network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with U.S. Government engineers on network setup, configuration, and cybersecurity integration.
• Administer and analyze technical architecture for LAN and WAN environments.
• Troubleshoot complex network hardware and software issues to restore service and determine root causes.
• Develop and integrate Cisco products within a network engineering sandbox.
• Provide subject matter expertise to engineers and IT specialists on program networking assignments.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold or be able to obtain an active U.S. national security clearance.
• 7-10 years of network engineering experience with Cisco devices (switches, routers, firewalls).
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, and DMVPN/mGRE.
• Experience with network performance/load testing tools and data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in VMware and systems administration for various operating systems.
• Experience with COMSEC and documenting network designs.

Nice to have

• Active CCNP, CCNP Security, or CCIE certification.
• Experience with network security solutions (firewalls, IPS) and cybersecurity tools like Splunk or Vectra.
• Understanding of IPSEC, 802.1X, and Network Function Virtualization.
• Project management experience including team building and scheduling.
