What you will do

• Serve as the lead architect for US-based mission networks, establishing design standards and technology roadmaps.
• Design secure global SD-WAN architectures connecting remote sites, ground stations, and cloud environments.
• Architect highly available hybrid-cloud networking solutions spanning on-premises and government cloud platforms.
• Develop scalable routing, switching, and segmentation strategies to support worldwide operations.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with NIST 800-171/53, CMMC, and RMF requirements.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams to ensure design consistency across global operations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required for USG program support.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET Clearance.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or mission-critical network architecture.
• Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, IPSec VPNs, and hybrid-cloud networking.
• Experience designing architectures aligned with NIST security controls.
• Ability to travel internationally (10–15%).

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Government or AWS GovCloud.
• Knowledge of network automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCIE or CCNP.
• Experience integrating satellite communications and RF transport systems.
