What you will do

• Lead acquisition and merger activities for solar, wind, and energy storage projects.
• Design financial models and capital structures to maximize project economics and ensure long-term sustainability.
• Conduct fundamental market analysis, early-stage prospecting, and transmission/interconnection assessments.
• Manage critical aspects of M&A due diligence, coordinating with experts to validate assumptions and mitigate risks.
• Develop high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership, committees, and boards.
• Improve financial and technical modeling tools to enhance decision-making for energy storage projects.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 3 years of experience conducting strategic operational and business analysis for renewable energy engineering projects.
• 3 years of experience performing financial modeling and valuation for energy storage projects.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (including VBA) and discounted cashflow (DCF) models.
• 2 years of experience understanding power market fundamentals (e.g., NY-ISO, PJM, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC).
