Senior Corporate Development Analyst (AI/SaaS)

Location: New York City, USA; hybrid schedule with two office days per week. Occasional travel of less than 20% is required, and onsite attendance may be required during the interview process.

Salary: $102,600–$179,250 USD annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the M&A pipeline, process opportunities in DealCloud, and prepare initial opportunity perspectives.
• Build valuation analyses, corporate M&A models, trading and transaction comparables, and SaaS-focused financial analyses.
• Develop driver-based operating models, multiple-case scenarios, and business case analyses.
• Prepare concise materials for investment committee and board-level review.
• Coordinate deal timelines, cross-functional diligence workstreams, external advisors, targets, banks, and private equity funds.
• Support acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, NDAs, offer letters, and other transaction administration activities.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, including end-to-end M&A transaction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or an equivalent field; an MBA is preferred.
• Knowledge of software, SaaS, AI, and technology-enabled services business models and metrics such as ARR, net retention, churn, LTV/CAC, and cloud versus on-premise mix.
• Significant financial model authoring experience, solid understanding of financial statements, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with financial research platforms such as CapitalIQ and PitchBook, data rooms, executive communication, and compressed project timelines.
• Ability to engage with senior executives and synthesize complex information into concise, actionable materials.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms to automate M&A workflows, market screening, benchmarking, or software-asset due diligence.
• MBA or equivalent advanced business education.
