What you will do

• Build and maintain robust deal models, including standalone P&L, synergy models, DCF, and IRR/NPV analysis.
• Perform detailed Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis to identify EBITDA adjustments and diligence red flags.
• Conduct market mapping and competitive landscape analysis to identify acquisition and partnership targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence workstreams across Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Operations.
• Prepare investment committee memos, presentation decks, and leadership recommendation packages.
• Support post-merger integration by mapping financial systems and tracking synergy realization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
• Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to build P&L and DCF models from scratch in Excel.
• Strong understanding of valuation techniques and M&A transaction mechanics.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing executive-ready deal summaries and memos.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms such as FactSet, PitchBook, or Capital IQ.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, MBA, or Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
• Prior experience in foodservice, distribution, or SaaS platform business models.
• Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions or Big 4 financial due diligence.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite) and data visualization tools.
• Interest in applying AI and automation tools to streamline M&A workflows.
