What you will do

• Lead a small engineering team while remaining hands-on in the development process.
• Build AI-powered desktop applications for traders using React, TypeScript, and Electron.
• Develop and ship LLM-powered agents into production.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services using Python and/or Rust.
• Collaborate closely with traders to deliver high-impact internal tools.

Requirements

• Deep experience building production applications with React, TypeScript, and Electron.
• Proven track record of shipping LLM/AI agent tooling into production.
• Strong frontend engineering skills with backend experience in Python and/or Rust.
• Previous experience in engineering leadership or people management.
• Ability to work with EST timezone overlap.
• High ownership and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in trading, fintech, or financial markets.
• Experience building tools for traders, quants, or analysts.
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud infrastructure.
