What you will do

• Develop and document human factors, occupant packages, and comfort requirements within the vehicle design space.
• Benchmark competitor vehicles to validate target metrics for class-leading ergonomics and occupant accommodation.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Attribute Teams to integrate ergonomic requirements into new AV-centered vehicle platforms.
• Build and utilize ergo bucks and physical hardware mockups to evaluate spatial target concepts.
• Execute user clinics on ergo bucks to gather and analyze customer feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automotive human factors and occupant packaging.
• Deep expertise in vehicle comfort and ergonomics, using both subjective and quantitative evaluation methods.
• Strong understanding of SAE standards and FMVSS/ECE regulations for layout, spaciousness, and visibility.
• Proficiency with RAMSIS, CAVA, and Catia CAD tools for 2D/3D vehicle package layouts.
• Proven ability to negotiate requirements with OEMs, partners, and suppliers.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the future mobility sector (beyond traditional OEM/personal car ownership).
• Background working across multiple OEMs with diverse product development methodologies.
• Specific experience in occupant packaging for Electric Vehicles (EVs).
