What you will do

• Act as the subject matter expert in ergonomics for new vehicle programs in Warren and North American manufacturing sites.
• Conduct ergonomic risk analysis using virtual and physical assessment methodologies to establish threshold limit values.
• Utilize 3D Virtual Digital Human Model (DHM) simulations and vehicle CAD to determine assembly parameters.
• Collaborate with product designers, manufacturing engineers, and UAW representatives to resolve ergonomic issues.
• Manage ergonomic issues to closure and provide status reports to Future Vehicle Program and Plant leadership.
• Integrate lessons learned from current plant operations to optimize future vehicle programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 1+ years of experience using ergonomic analysis tools.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of 3D CAD software and Digital Human Modeling (Siemens Jack/Process Simulate).
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to travel (<25%) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to work with UAW and other unions.
• Experience organizing and executing manufacturing or ergonomic projects.
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet planned targets.
