Salary: $182,000 – $242,000

What you will do

• Hire, coach, and grow a team of infrastructure and SRE engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and reliability.
• Own the reliability and serviceability of MetalDev RedFish services in production environments.
• Define and drive KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs to align with organizational reliability objectives.
• Implement automation strategies to reduce manual toil and streamline incident detection and recovery.
• Establish and improve incident response processes, runbooks, and RCA/PIR practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on platform resilience, disaster recovery, and external vendor management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of first-line engineering management experience leading SRE or Infrastructure teams.
• 7+ years of combined experience in cloud operations, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency in Go (or similar systems languages) and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of bare-metal infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Must meet U.S. Government export control requirements (U.S. Person).

Nice to have

• Experience managing bare-metal or hardware-adjacent infrastructure teams.
• Familiarity with Redfish, BMC, or server lifecycle management technologies.
• Experience scaling teams and processes in a high-growth environment.
