Staff Product Manager (Automotive)

TL;DR

Staff Product Manager (Automotive): Defining and delivering head-up display (HUD) experiences to enhance driver safety and information delivery with an accent on UX, software, and hardware integration. Location: Hybrid in Warren, Michigan (must report to office at least 3 times a week)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end HUD product vision, strategy, and content hierarchy.
• Create and maintain a prioritized roadmap spanning UX, software, and optics hardware.
• Translate customer insights and telemetry into product requirements and success metrics.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Design, Engineering, Legal, and Safety teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety-related content and driver assistance messaging.
• Drive continuous improvement via post-launch monitoring and feature iteration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience delivering technology products (embedded, mobile, web, or UX).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without authority.
• Strong communication skills to synthesize user needs and technical constraints.
• Experience using data, metrics, and usability research for decision-making.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Warren, Michigan.

Nice to have

• Experience with in-vehicle HMI, HUD, or ADAS UX.
• Familiarity with display/optics constraints (brightness, field of view, image distance).
• Experience partnering with Safety, Legal, and Regulatory teams for compliance.
• MBA or an advanced degree; background in automotive or consumer electronics.
