Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Execute month-end close processes, including P&L fluctuation analysis and journal entry preparation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and detailed financial analysis.
• Manage accounting tasks for Asset Backed Securitization transactions, including intercompany billing and documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Lead team initiatives to meet tight reporting deadlines and improve operational efficiency.
• Train junior staff and provide guidance on accounting best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany.
• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS365 suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or OneStream.
• Background in the telecommunications industry.
