Cash Accounting Specialist

TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Process and reconcile customer invoices, payments, and bank statements independently.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of GL cash-in accounts and ensure accurate booking of unallocated payments.
• Collaborate with local Business Units to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Handle financial queries and issues in accordance with Finance policies and SOX alignment.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including substantiation of GL accounts.
• Participate in Finance projects focused on activity efficiency and quality improvement.

Requirements

• Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a shared service center, accounting, or financial role.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Proven analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with CODA software.
• Additional exposure to General Ledger (GL) processes.
