Financial Accountant (Retail)

Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland (onsite 3-5 times per month)

What you will do

• Support monthly close by preparing journal entries and reconciling GL accounts according to GAAP.
• Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) accrued expenses using Coupa and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Perform GR/IR reconciliations to ensure goods received match invoices.
• Oversee tracking, reconciliation, and amortization of prepaid expenses (insurance, rent, tax).
• Monitor and record gift card purchase and usage activity.
• Reconcile other accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.

Requirements

• Availability to work 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) to support the US market.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• English: C1 level required for communication in an international environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data input).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Kraków, Poland.
