What you will do

• Immerse yourself in client operations (e.g., underwriting, claims processing) to learn business constraints from the inside before automating.
• Build and ship production-ready GenAI/LLM systems and agentic workflows based on industry blueprints.
• Design and implement evaluation suites for non-deterministic AI systems to measure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with BU heads and CTOs to redesign business functions from first principles.
• Develop cloud-native delivery pipelines on AWS using containers, Kubernetes/ECS, and IaC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building software with a substantial share of production code accountability.
• Proven experience shipping production GenAI/LLM systems (beyond demos or notebooks).
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in AWS (Containers, Kubernetes/ECS, IaC, CI/CD).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong hands-on production experience with Claude Code/Cowork.

Nice to have

• Prior experience as a founder, CTO, or engineering leader.
• Domain depth in financial services, insurance, healthcare, or asset management.
• Expertise in data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, streaming, data mesh).
• Knowledge of MLOps and classical ML (PyTorch, SageMaker, MLflow).
• Experience with Graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune).
