What you will do

• Define the roadmap and strategy for the MCP platform and AI integration layer.
• Partner with architects to design tool schemas and data products optimized for AI agent consumption.
• Own the end-to-end developer experience, including documentation, portals, and onboarding workflows.
• Establish standards for data provenance, auditability, and guardrails to prevent AI hallucinations.
• Drive delivery through cross-functional engineering teams and application partners.
• Coordinate go-to-market efforts with sales, marketing, and business development teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years in technical product management or architecture, with 3+ years in API platforms or integration infrastructure.
• Engineering background with professional coding experience and a deep understanding of developer needs.
• Proven experience shipping developer-facing or machine-consumable products.
• Strong knowledge of API gateway patterns, OAuth, and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of LLM tool-calling, function calling, and AI agent failure modes.
• Exceptional written communication skills for technical documentation and strategy.

Nice to have

• Experience with API gateway technologies like Kong or AWS API Gateway.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standards.
• Background in insurance, financial services, or regulated data industries.
• Experience with API pricing, packaging, and usage-based models.
