What you will do

• Lead discovery with banks, PE firms, and hedge funds to identify high-value workflows for automation.
• Define project scope, success metrics, pilot designs, and commercial structures.
• Build and deliver workflow-specific demonstrations for screening, diligence, and research synthesis.
• Prototype custom skills and connector configurations using Perplexity Computer and the API Platform.
• Translate customer requirements into product, connector, and data-partnership priorities.
• Manage senior relationships with MDs, Partners, CIOs, and CTOs to drive deployment and expansion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or institutional asset management.
• 6+ years of total experience spanning finance and technical GTM, sales engineering, or AI product strategy.
• Deep fluency in front-office workflows including comps, diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
• Strong intuition for AI products and agents with the ability to understand technical systems.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into executable deployment plans.
• Must be based in the US to be eligible for the stated compensation and benefits.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building with agentic systems, MCP, or LLM APIs.
• Working knowledge of institutional data platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or S&P Capital IQ.
• Experience deploying technology into regulated financial institutions.
• Founder or early-startup operating experience.
