What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair automated medical device build and support equipment in a cleanroom environment.
• Service and repair automated assembly, packaging, weigh-checking, and heating/dispensing control instruments.
• Maintain and repair PLC-controlled equipment and support systems (including forma pack and treatment systems).
• Perform preventative and non-routine maintenance on semi-customized production equipment and facility support systems (RO/DI water, compressed air, generators).
• Respond to maintenance requests, complete repairs per manufacturer specifications, and document work orders and equipment logbooks.
• Support facilities day-to-day tasks and assist with production line installations and renovation projects.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in an industrial setting with automated production machinery.
• Previous maintenance experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical and PLC-controlled equipment; ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
• Ability to respond to 24/7 emergencies/on-call as required and work flexible/extended hours and weekends.
• Mechanical maintenance experience with automated equipment, conveyors, and packaging equipment; ability to use measuring tools and a VOM.
• High School diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license required.
