What you will do

• Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines to ensure full compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Take ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and escalate discrepancies.
• Mentor junior colleagues and foster a culture of accountability and quality.
• Stay updated on professional development and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with the wider pharmacy team to ensure timely patient delivery.

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent qualification required.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
• Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with pace and purpose.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient outcomes.
