Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Bay Harbor Islands, FL or New York, NY

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate contracts including acquisitions, leasing, and property management agreements.
• Lead legal due diligence efforts for new investments and ensure compliance with local land use and zoning regulations.
• Manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality documentation and cost-effective legal support.
• Collaborate with Real Estate and Finance teams to align deal terms with business goals and manage operational risks.
• Provide expert counsel on lease interpretation and resolve complex agreement issues under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant legal experience, with in-house experience considered a plus.
• Admission in good standing to practice law.
• Strong business knowledge of real estate finance and operations.
• Superior contract drafting and deal negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across legal, executive, and operational teams.
