What you will do

• Perform preventative inspections and reactive repairs on production lines, including filling machines and packaging equipment.
• Execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance tasks following manufacturer guidelines.
• Analyze technical failures and propose improvements for equipment modification or new construction.
• Maintain accurate records of technical works and data in SAP.
• Support production operators with technical knowledge to ensure efficient machine operation.
• Guide and assist external specialist technicians during onsite engineering works.

Requirements

• Must have demonstrable experience in a fast-paced engineering environment within the food industry.
• Time-served and qualified maintenance engineer with City and Guilds or NVQ3 certification.
• Applied knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Must be physically fit for walking, climbing, and lifting.
• Knowledge of safe working practices and food hygiene standards.

Nice to have

• Multi-skilled engineering background.
• 18th edition qualification for electrical bias.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with Tetra Pak, SPX, or Alpha Laval machinery.
