Process Technologist (Bakery)

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand needs and co-create tailored technical solutions.
• Lead product development of finished goods from lab trials through to plant scale-up.
• Identify and manage new business opportunities while serving as the Technical Point of Contact for key accounts.
• Develop and share expertise in industrial ingredients, manufacturing technologies, and process automation.
• Translate creative concepts and guidelines from headquarters into inspirational finished goods for the local market.
• Design standardized product testing protocols and provide training to R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience working in Industrial or In-Store Bakeries.
• Proven understanding of food ingredients and their functional relationships.
• Must hold a valid Driver's license and Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad (approximately 40%).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP tools.
• Must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not provided).
