What you will do

• Lead thermal and structural solutions for consumer electronics with complex integration requirements.
• Own the end-to-end thermal design process from initial concept and simulation to validation and production.
• Perform advanced thermal and thermo-mechanical simulations using Ansys CFD Enterprise, Cadence Fidelis, or Siemens Simcenter FLOEFD.
• Conduct structural simulations using LS-DYNA or Ansys to validate mechanical designs prior to tooling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ME, EE, ID, FW, NPI) and external suppliers to ensure robust integration and manufacturability.
• Contribute to thermal and mechanical architecture strategies for future product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 8+ years of thermal engineering experience specifically within the consumer electronics or computing industry.
• Deep knowledge of heat transfer principles and cooling strategies (passive and active).
• Proficiency in thermal analysis, experimental setups, data acquisition, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools: Ansys CFD Enterprise, Fidelis, Simcenter FLOEFD, and LS-DYNA.
• Mechanical design skills using Creo or SolidWorks, specifically for enclosure or heat sink integration.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
