What you will do

• Own sustaining mechanical engineering activities for released products in production.
• Drive ECR/ECN activities, including technical impact assessment, validation, and documentation updates.
• Lead product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives based on quality data and field feedback.
• Enhance production productivity by optimizing product design, assembly flow, and manufacturability.
• Investigate and resolve mechanical production and supplier quality issues using root cause analysis.
• Support tooling and fixture development, material selection, and technical discussions with manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or sustaining engineering within consumer electronics.
• Strong knowledge of injection molded plastics, precision components, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, or Catia for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
• Hands-on experience using PLM systems and managing ECR/ECN processes.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and 8D problem-solving.
