Senior Finance Analyst / Controller

What you will do

• Own project finance, budgeting, and profitability tracking.
• Monitor cost center expenses against forecasts and build insightful financial reports.
• Identify and execute opportunities to automate and standardize accounting processes.
• Control supplier invoices, taxes, payroll expenses, and accruals.
• Coordinate financial closings, treasury, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support external audits and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 audit/accounting background.
• Solid grounding in IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC).
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in or able to relocate to San Sebastian, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
• Understanding of SOX or equivalent compliance frameworks.
