System Administrator (Mid-Senior)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with 3 office days and 2 work-from-home days, plus WFA options.

What you will do

• Configure, automate, and test private cloud and remotely hosted infrastructure.
• Scale infrastructure supporting 6PB+ of Ceph storage, 60PB+ of monthly data traffic, 300k+ service requests per second, and 500k+ Kafka messages per second.
• Configure monitoring, auditing, alerting, security controls, compliance, and system patching.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and outages.
• Evaluate infrastructure developments and tooling for the Oxy DC team.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and servers.
• Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
• Experience with container systems such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL and Redis-like key-value databases.
• Experience with Linux, SQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker, Elastic/Grafana, and Ansible.
• Ability to prioritize high-impact infrastructure work.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Python, Bash, Go, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Kafka or Redpanda, RabbitMQ, and HAProxy.
