Junior Controller (Finance)

Junior Controller (Finance): Support the financial management of the Global Service business and create transparency for key business decisions with an accent on financial and operational KPI analysis and reporting. Focus on optimizing reporting structures, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating with international teams to drive commercial decision-making.

Location: Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid: up to 8 days of mobile work per month)

What you will do

• Analyze and prepare financial and operational KPIs to support business performance management.
• Create reports and presentations for management, corporate functions, and other stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
• Conduct business analyses to contribute to commercial and financial decision-making.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of reporting structures, controlling tools, and finance processes.
• Collaborate with national and international teams as an interface between operations and Finance.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Initial practical experience through demanding internships or working student positions.
• Strong analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Hamburg, Germany.

Nice to have

• Initial experience with SAP, Power BI, or similar systems.
• Above-average academic performance.
