(Senior) Accountant General Ledger (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for EMEA entities under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Prepare monthly group reporting packages for the corporate headquarters in China.
• Support assigned activities in the group consolidation process.
• Analyze and resolve accounting issues while maintaining compliance with reporting requirements.
• Coordinate external auditor interactions and support VAT and corporate income tax matters.
• Lead General Ledger and Finance projects, perform account reconciliations, and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Accounting, Auditing, Tax Consulting, or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP (HGB).
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO in a General Ledger accounting environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken, are required.
