What you will do

• Develop and enhance tools for self-service data exploration, including AI-powered assistants.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features for event tracking and data platforms from design to rollout.
• Manage and govern data access, balancing security with self-service capabilities for non-technical teams.
• Act as a technical expert for client-side SDKs, ingestion pipelines, or data warehouse layers.
• Partner with support, trading, and product teams to translate user needs into technical features.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical design discussions to raise quality standards.

Requirements

• Deep experience building and operating backend services or data pipelines at scale.
• Experience with or strong interest in modern data warehouse/lakehouse platforms and event-driven pipelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong commitment to system reliability, monitoring, and handling edge cases.
• Proven track record of cross-team collaboration and mentoring.
• Location: Must be based in London
