What you will do

• Conduct complex business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, or withdrawal of certification.
• Lead multi-disciplinary and international assessment teams, ensuring visits are completed within agreed timescales.
• Produce high-quality assessment and summary reports in compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Promote higher-value services and build strong relationships with automotive industry clients.
• Supervise induction, coaching, and knowledge transfer for new Assessors.
• Mentor less experienced Lead Assessors and contribute to internal product development projects.

Requirements

• IATF 16949 Automotive auditor qualifications.
• Substantial experience in third-party system and process level auditing.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
• Thorough understanding of management systems and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
