What you will do
- Conduct complex business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, or withdrawal of certification.
- Lead multi-disciplinary and international assessment teams, ensuring visits are completed within agreed timescales.
- Produce high-quality assessment and summary reports in compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Promote higher-value services and build strong relationships with automotive industry clients.
- Supervise induction, coaching, and knowledge transfer for new Assessors.
- Mentor less experienced Lead Assessors and contribute to internal product development projects.
Requirements
- IATF 16949 Automotive auditor qualifications.
- Substantial experience in third-party system and process level auditing.
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
- Thorough understanding of management systems and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
