What you will do

• Design and maintain SIL, PIL, and HIL environments for spacecraft validation and verification.
• Integrate spacecraft Flight Software (FSW) with dynamic simulation models and hardware interfaces.
• Develop closed-loop testing infrastructure, including telemetry generation and telecommand injection.
• Integrate simulation platforms with mission control systems such as Yamcs.
• Build test automation frameworks and implement CI/CD workflows using Python and GitLab.
• Support on-console operations, including 24/7 shift work and mission rehearsals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in spacecraft systems, ground systems, or simulation/test environments.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with SIL, PIL, or HIL mixed hardware-software environments.
• Strong knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and telemetry/telecommand flows.
• Professional level English (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Experience with mission control systems like Yamcs or Grafana.
• Familiarity with CCSDS protocols and commanding chains.
• Experience with avionics interfaces and EGSE.
• Background in lunar, deep-space, or planetary missions.
• Knowledge of the Japanese language.
