What you will do

• Lead global sanctions and AML screening strategy across OFAC, EU, UN, and OFSI regimes.
• Design and improve financial crime controls, including PEP and negative news screening.
• Integrate screening requirements into product and infrastructure roadmaps for market expansions.
• Define and monitor KPIs, KRIs, and effectiveness metrics for screening systems.
• Leverage AI and data analytics to enhance risk detection and monitoring.
• Represent AML programs to regulators, bank partners, and external auditors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in financial services, payments, or fintech.
• 5+ years in a risk, compliance, or product enablement role.
• Deep expertise in global sanctions frameworks (OFAC, EU, UN, OFSI).
• Proven ability to design and operationalize PEP and negative news screening programs.
• Familiarity with model governance concepts, including performance monitoring and validation.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with SQL for independent data mining and risk insight development.
• Experience with crypto or digital asset financial crime risk and regulatory considerations.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, CGSS, or CFCS.
