What you will do

• Own end-to-end biweekly U.S. payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees, including daily cycles for non-qualified stock options.
• Execute payroll input compilation from multiple sources, validating data for accuracy and completeness.
• Drive timely resolution of employee payroll inquiries in Jira within SLA and perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to process employee changes and cross-check data accuracy.
• Lead timecard tracking and reconciliation to ensure alignment between timekeeping and payroll records.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains in payroll workflows.

Requirements

• Experience with multi-state payroll processing and expertise in federal, state, and local tax compliance.
• Proven experience processing payroll for populations receiving equity compensation, including RSUs.
• Hands-on proficiency with payroll platforms such as UKG Pro or Workday HCM.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian tools (Jira).
• Ability to responsibly utilize generative AI to drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency.
• Fluency with cloud-native data environments such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
