What you will do

• Build and scale the Stytch identity platform infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and performance for a global customer base.
• Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, EKS, ECS, and Terraform.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate platform needs into technical roadmaps and high-impact features.
• Improve production resilience through observability, incident response, and automated remediation using Datadog, ELK, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Develop self-service tooling and reliable platform primitives to accelerate internal product teams.
• Mentor other engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge-sharing to raise the team's technical bar.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as an Infrastructure or Platform Engineer building high-scale, mission-critical cloud production systems.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/GitOps), and AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one modern production programming language.
• Experience scaling distributed systems, including relational databases and high-availability architectures.
• Ability to work non-standard hours for on-call rotations (weekends/holidays).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for authoring design docs and leading technical discussions.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-region global infrastructure, disaster recovery, and data replication.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant infrastructure, compliance, and cost/performance optimization.
