Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platforms for production, QA, and development environments.
• Develop automation and IaC using Terraform modules, deployment scripts, and glue code to eliminate manual work.
• Ensure system reliability by troubleshooting and resolving scalability, availability, and performance issues in live systems.
• Implement and manage monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and log aggregation systems.
• Collaborate closely with application developers to streamline deployments and resolve production issues.
• Define the technical direction for DevOps and mentor engineers through work reviews and hands-on guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
• Deep practical expertise in AWS EKS, GitLab CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Extensive experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, Kinesis, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in command-line automation using Bash and Python.
• Strong grasp of microservices architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to architect and scale infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch and log aggregation.
