What you will do

• Build and own end-to-end full-stack features, from React-based billing UIs to scalable backend settlement services.
• Design and implement robust backend APIs in Java or Python for commercial transactions, including metering and invoicing.
• Develop reusable, accessible React component libraries to provide visibility into usage and revenue.
• Improve reliability and observability of transactional pipelines, focusing on fraud prevention and idempotency.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and billing teams to evolve data schemas and APIs.
• Drive engineering quality through code reviews, architecture discussions, and proactive tooling improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping customer-facing production features.
• Strong React proficiency, including hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
• Solid backend skills in Java, Python, or Go, with experience in REST/gRPC and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with transactional systems such as payment processing, billing, or order management.
• Ability to independently own features from specification to production.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping 0 to 1 products.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude or Cursor.
• Knowledge of Snowflake's platform, including Snowpark or the Data Cloud ecosystem.
• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Vitest).
