Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Social Commerce)

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States

Salary: $196,000–$220,500 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build cross-platform purchase flows, social gifting experiences, and commerce surfaces for voice, chat, and mobile.
• Design, build, ship, and iterate scalable software throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers to write, review, and deliver high-quality code used by millions of people.
• Work directly with game studio partners to understand their needs, answer technical questions, and improve developer tools.
• Partner with product managers, designers, game developers, and partner managers to resolve ambiguity and shape the product direction.
• Run experiments, analyze A/B test results, and continuously raise the quality bar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 2+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and React.
• Expertise in at least two areas of the technology stack: Python, TypeScript/React, Elixir, or Rust.
• Ability to switch between technology stacks or learn new ones.
• Product and design sensibility, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, and actively using AI coding tools to improve productivity.

Nice to have

• Game development experience.
• Mobile development experience.
• Experience using GCP, Amazon, or Azure for backend product infrastructure.
