TL;DR
AI Platform Engineer (AI): Building and expanding a private, secure AI platform for the engineering organization with an accent on autonomous AI agents and infrastructure automation. Focus on designing RAG workflows, implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP), and integrating AI into low-level systems engineering.
Location: Remote (Must be residing within the United States)

What you will do
- Own the configuration and infrastructure of the private, domain-aware AI platform for engineers.
- Design and implement autonomous AI agents to automate engineering operations across firmware, drivers, and ASIC development.
- Develop agent interfaces using FastAPI, CLI, and chat integrations.
- Maintain platform infrastructure including containerized services on Linux, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Author and tune structured workflows and system instructions via prompt engineering.
- Build CI/CD validation pipelines to ensure robust agent contracts and secure configurations.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python and general software development fundamentals.
- Practical experience developing and troubleshooting software in Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients and servers.
- Experience building LLM-powered agents and RAG workflows.
- Must be residing within the United States
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, Podman, and REST API development.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Background in embedded systems, firmware, or semiconductor ASIC development.
- Experience with enterprise APIs (GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams).
